Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-07

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Circuit Keep (the “Game”), provided by Lambda 7 Tech LLC (“we”, “us”). By installing, accessing, or playing the Game you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

1. The Game

Circuit Keep is a single-player tactical tower defense game. It is distributed as a desktop build on Steam and as a web build at app.circuitkeep.com.

2. Steam distribution

The desktop build is sold through Steam. Your purchase, refund rights, and use of the Steam client are also governed by the Steam Subscriber Agreement. Where these Terms and the Steam Subscriber Agreement apply to the same subject matter, the Steam Subscriber Agreement controls the relationship between you and Valve, and these Terms control the relationship between you and Lambda 7 Tech LLC.

3. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms (and, where applicable, the Steam Subscriber Agreement), we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play the Game for non-commercial entertainment use. You may not:

4. Saves and progress

The Game stores your progress locally on your device. On Steam, progress may also sync to Steam Cloud if you have Steam Cloud enabled for Circuit Keep. We are not responsible for save data that is lost due to local storage being cleared, hardware failure, Steam Cloud sync conflicts, or actions you take inside Steam (such as resetting stats or achievements).

5. Intellectual property

Circuit Keep, including its code, art, audio, story, characters, level design, branding, and the names “Circuit Keep” and “Lambda 7 Tech”, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Third-party open-source components are incorporated under their respective licenses; relevant attributions are available on request.

6. Updates

We may release updates, patches, balance changes, or new content from time to time. Some updates may modify or remove features. By continuing to play after an update, you accept the updated Game.

7. Disclaimers

THE GAME IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE GAME WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR AVAILABLE IN YOUR REGION.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAMBDA 7 TECH LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR SAVE PROGRESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE GAME. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE GAME WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE GAME IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access to online features (where they exist) or revoke this license if you materially breach these Terms, including the conduct prohibitions in §3. Sections 5, 7, 8, 10, and 11 survive termination.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, where Lambda 7 Tech LLC is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Game is the state or federal courts located in California, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. This section does not limit any consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page. Continued play after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
